iolo is pleased to celebrate our 12 successful years in business--a dozen years of innovative software that has reshaped the PC tune-up industry. Since we celebrated a decade in business in 2008, iolo has achieved a number of milestones; we:

• Implemented Windows 7 compatibility and 64-bit compatibility across all of our product lines (the first PC tune-up software provider to do so).

• Released the new System Shield 4 AntiVirus and AntiSpyware, which brings a performance-based perspective to internet security that leverages iolo's unique PC performance expertise.

• Released the new System Mechanic Business edition, designed to make it easy for small-to-medium sized businesses to benefit from our PC repair and maintenance technologies.

• Updated both System Mechanic and System Mechanic Professional with a range of new features focused on performance, repair and real-time reporting.

• Launched "UpToSpeed™," an ongoing article series written by iolo experts that offers advice on how to get the most out of your PC, like features on Eliminating Computer Stress, Freeing Up System Memory and 12 PC Myths Busted.

• Attained a significant upsurge in our international growth; iolo now retails products in 33 countries and in six languages.

• Received more awards than any other time in iolo's history, with multiple "Best of," "Product of the Year" and "Editor's Choice" accolades from around the globe.

System Mechanic is Green and Purchasing it Helps The Environment

Uh...? This is a common reaction to the statement that System Mechanic can help the environment. Read on...Each year, more than five billion pounds of computer waste is generated -- the equivalent of 17 pounds for each American citizen. In 2007 alone more than 40 million computers were dumped, up from 20 million in 1998, according to the US Environmental Protection Agency. Much of this waste could be avoided if PCs remained fast, efficient, and stable for longer that the current 30-month average. By keeping older personal computers running like new, iolo technologies' System Mechanic helps deliver that green result. This #1 best-selling PC tune-up product has already been used by more than 21 million consumers worldwide to extend the lives and reduce the power consumption of their aging machines.
